Online streaming, HD Radio, FM 75µs, and FM 50µs — each with format-appropriate pre-emphasis, limiting curves, and automatic stereo safety. One processor, every broadcast format.
Each delivery mode configures the final stages of the signal chain for its target format. FM modes engage pre-emphasis curves (75µs for North America, 50µs for Europe/Asia) with post-emphasis overshoot guard. HD Radio mode optimizes for digital broadcast codec characteristics. Online mode targets streaming platforms with TruePeak compliance and LUFS normalization.
FM broadcast requires strict stereo ratio limiting to prevent multipath distortion and ensure mono compatibility. MixBus Platinum automatically applies format-appropriate stereo ratio limits — 0.82 for FM 75µs and 0.72 for FM 50µs. The limiter acts on the M/S domain, preserving stereo width while keeping the ratio within safe bounds.
Switch between delivery modes without stopping playback. The crossfade between format configurations is smooth and click-free, making it easy to A/B different output formats during setup. Each mode stores its own peak limiting and stereo safety parameters, so switching formats always produces correctly-configured output.
