Getting Started

Up and running in under five minutes. The quick-start guide walks you through downloading the installer, authorizing your license, selecting your audio device, and loading your first preset. Whether you're running standalone for broadcast or loading the plugin in your DAW, this is the place to begin.

  • Installation — Download the universal installer for macOS or Windows. Includes Standalone, AU, and VST3 formats in a single package.
  • License Activation — Enter your license key or sign in with your MixBus account. Supports two simultaneous activations per seat.
  • Audio Setup — Configure your audio interface, sample rate, and buffer size. The setup wizard auto-detects optimal settings.
  • First Preset — Load a factory preset for your use case (broadcast, mastering, or streaming) and hear the signal chain in action.

API Reference

MixBus Cloud subscribers have access to a RESTful API for remote control, preset management, telemetry, and automated processing workflows. The API supports real-time parameter updates, batch preset deployment across multiple instances, and LUFS/TruePeak metering data export for compliance logging.
